How to Add Checkpoints to a Test

You can add checkpoints during a recording session or while editing your test. It is generally more convenient to define checkpoints after recording the initial test.

Object Selection - Checkpoint Properties

The Object Selection - Checkpoint Properties dialog box enables you to select an object to check from the object tree. The objects in the tree are displayed in hierarchical order, based on the location you clicked in the Active Screen, Web page, or application. The name of each object corresponds to the object's class. Selecting an object and clicking OK opens a dialog box in which you specify the checkpoint settings.
